FOR US SEMI-TRUCK PROCUREMENT

Built around a cooling-focused brief

For long-haul fleet retrofits, dealer-installed packages and new vehicle integration projects, start with the sleeper’s cooling demand and the truck’s available 12V energy. VX3000SP offers a straightforward starting point when cooling is the primary requirement.

01 / VX3000SP

Cooling first

A dedicated cooling model for fleets defining a clear warm-weather sleeper-cab requirement.

02 / VX3000SP

Separate indoor & outdoor units

Plan the indoor airflow and outdoor mounting location around your cab layout and service access.

03 / VX3000SP

Automatic oscillation

The indoor outlet provides automatic oscillation to distribute supply air across the cab.

THE 12V CONFIGURATION

Numbers your technical team can work with.

Use these model-specific ratings to begin a vehicle review and prepare a comparable supplier quotation.

Capacity and electrical input are different.
Cooling or heating capacity describes thermal output. Use rated electrical power and current when planning the supply.

Indoor and outdoor weights are separate package weights, not net unit weights. A separate 24V version is available; this page specifies the 12V version.

Specifications: VETHY current model data, reviewed October 17, 2026. Imperial and BTU/h equivalents marked “approx.” are unit conversions, not additional test ratings. Dimensions retain the source order; confirm orientation and mounting drawings for installation.

FROM CAB LAYOUT TO POWER PLAN

Make the first truck a useful fleet pilot.

A semi-truck installation starts with the actual tractor and duty cycle. Align your installer, maintenance team and purchasing team on these details before ordering a production batch.

Pilot focus for VX3000SP
Cooling performance, cabin air distribution and energy use over the intended rest period.
  • Vehicle and mounting space. Share tractor make, model, year and sleeper layout. Confirm outdoor support, service access, trailer swing clearance and hose routing with the installer.
  • Indoor airflow. Locate the indoor unit to reach the occupied bunk area while keeping the inlet, outlet and service access clear. Plan condensate drainage and sealed routing.
  • 12V electrical integration. Define the auxiliary battery, protected cable route and recharge plan. Confirm starting reserve, wiring protection and low-voltage settings for the complete installation.
  • Real operating conditions. Agree on ambient temperature, solar exposure, occupancy, cabin temperature target and rest duration. Measure energy use and comfort in the trial vehicle.

PILOT → REPEATABLE SUPPLY

A clear path for larger orders.

Build a common specification before scaling across vehicles, branches or dealer locations.

01 / DEFINE

One configuration

Confirm the 12V model, included parts, installation scope, operating conditions and delivery destination.

02 / VALIDATE

A measured pilot

Agree on sample quantities and acceptance criteria, then capture installation, comfort and energy results.

03 / STANDARDIZE

A written supply brief

Request a confirmed parts list, packaging, labeling, warranty terms, service parts and applicable documentation.

04 / PLAN

A phased rollout

Use the approved sample to agree on production quantity, lead time, shipment terms and service support.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Before you specify VX3000SP.

Is VX3000SP suitable for a US 12V semi-truck?

The 12V version is a candidate for a 12V sleeper-cab installation. Final fit depends on the truck model and year, mounting space, electrical capacity, wiring route and approved installation arrangement. Send cab photos and dimensions for a configuration review.

Does the 12V version provide 9,000 BTU/h?

No. The current 12V specification is 7,000 BTU/h. The separate 24V version is rated at 9,000 BTU/h. Select the correct voltage version when requesting a quotation.

Does this model include heating?

This page specifies VX3000SP as a cooling model. For a split system with both cooling and heating ratings, review the EcoMax 3S 12V product page.

How long can it run while the truck is parked?

Runtime depends on usable auxiliary-battery energy, operating load, ambient conditions and other electrical loads. Rated current is 20–45 A. Define the required rest period and validate the complete truck installation in a pilot before setting a fleet runtime target.

Can we order a pilot batch before a fleet rollout?

Include your pilot quantity and expected rollout volume in the RFQ. Request a written configuration, included parts list, sample acceptance plan, delivery schedule and commercial terms for your project.
