12V HEATING & COOLING SPLIT SYSTEM

For US semi-truck fleets

EcoMax 3S 12V
Truck cooling
& heating.

Specify both comfort modes in your sleeper-cab project. EcoMax 3S combines a GMCC twin-rotary compressor with separate indoor and outdoor units, giving US fleet buyers a 12V option to evaluate for cooling and heating.

For fleets, distributors, upfitters and OEM purchasing teams.

FOR US SEMI-TRUCK PROCUREMENT

Specify the whole comfort requirement

For fleets, distributors and vehicle integrators evaluating a combined cooling and heating package, EcoMax 3S gives each operating mode a separate capacity, input-power and current rating. Use those figures to develop your vehicle-specific electrical and acceptance plan.

01 / ECOMAX 3S

Two comfort modes

Published 12V cooling and heating ratings help your team define requirements for both operating modes.

02 / ECOMAX 3S

GMCC twin-rotary compressor

A specified compressor brand and technology for your technical review and purchasing documentation.

03 / ECOMAX 3S

Brushless fan motors

Both evaporator and condenser fans use brushless motors, with airflow ratings listed separately below.

THE 12V CONFIGURATION

Numbers your technical team can work with.

Use these model-specific ratings to begin a vehicle review and prepare a comparable supplier quotation.

Capacity and electrical input are different.
Cooling or heating capacity describes thermal output. Use rated electrical power and current when planning the supply.

Complete set weights already include the indoor unit. A separate 24V version is available; this page specifies the 12V version. Heating performance at your lowest operating temperature should be confirmed during configuration review.

Specifications: VETHY current model data, reviewed October 17, 2026. Imperial and BTU/h equivalents marked “approx.” are unit conversions, not additional test ratings. Dimensions retain the source order; confirm orientation and mounting drawings for installation.

FROM CAB LAYOUT TO POWER PLAN

Make the first truck a useful fleet pilot.

A semi-truck installation starts with the actual tractor and duty cycle. Align your installer, maintenance team and purchasing team on these details before ordering a production batch.

Pilot focus for EcoMax 3S
Cooling and heating performance, measured energy use in each mode, and suitability for the intended operating temperatures.
  • Vehicle and mounting space. Share tractor make, model, year and sleeper layout. Confirm outdoor support, service access, trailer swing clearance and hose routing with the installer.
  • Indoor airflow. Locate the indoor unit to reach the occupied bunk area while keeping the inlet, outlet and service access clear. Plan condensate drainage and sealed routing.
  • 12V electrical integration. Define the auxiliary battery, protected cable route and recharge plan. Confirm starting reserve, wiring protection and low-voltage settings for the complete installation.
  • Real operating conditions. Agree on ambient temperature, solar exposure, occupancy, cabin temperature target and rest duration. Measure energy use and comfort in the trial vehicle.

Build a common specification before scaling across vehicles, branches or dealer locations.

01 / DEFINE

One configuration

Confirm the 12V model, included parts, installation scope, operating conditions and delivery destination.

02 / VALIDATE

A measured pilot

Agree on sample quantities and acceptance criteria, then capture installation, comfort and energy results.

03 / STANDARDIZE

A written supply brief

Request a confirmed parts list, packaging, labeling, warranty terms, service parts and applicable documentation.

04 / PLAN

A phased rollout

Use the approved sample to agree on production quantity, lead time, shipment terms and service support.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Before you specify EcoMax 3S.

What are the EcoMax 3S 12V cooling and heating ratings?

Cooling capacity is 2,200 W, with rated electrical power of 588 W and rated current of 20–49 A. Heating capacity is 2,000 W, with rated electrical power of 624 W and rated current of 22–52 A. Capacity is thermal output; electrical power is the input load.

Will it fit every US semi-truck sleeper?

Fit must be reviewed for the specific tractor model, year and sleeper layout. Provide indoor and outdoor mounting dimensions, cab photos, service clearances and the proposed 12V power source. The split layout does not establish universal vehicle compatibility.

Can it replace a truck’s heating system in severe winter conditions?

The 2,000 W heating rating alone does not establish low-temperature performance. Provide your minimum ambient temperature and comfort target, and request operating limits and validation for the proposed configuration before specifying it as the sole heating source.

How should a fleet plan the electrical supply?

Plan for both operating modes and the other parked-cab loads. Cooling and heating use different input-power and current ratings. Confirm the auxiliary battery, recharge schedule, protected wiring and low-voltage protection settings with the installer, then measure real energy use in a pilot.

What should a distributor or OEM include in a bulk inquiry?

Send pilot and annual quantities, destination ZIP code, vehicle details, intended operating temperatures, required included parts, service-spares needs and documentation requirements. Ask for a configuration-specific quotation and a written sample-to-production plan.
