Will it keep the cab cool in 50°C roadside pavement ambient?
Yes. Tested for 48°C ambient continuous; with reflective roof finish and shaded staging where possible the cab interior holds 24–26°C even at extreme road surface temperatures.
How long can it run during a 60-minute scene wait?
Indefinitely on auxiliary battery for 1 hour. 100Ah AGM auxiliary covers 3+ hours of continuous operation, well beyond typical scene wait windows.
Does it interfere with tow truck PTO or boom hydraulics?
No. The parking AC system is electrically independent — separate auxiliary battery, separate wiring. Boom and PTO operations are unaffected.
Will it work on a quick-attach tow rig chassis?
Yes. The unit mounts to the cab roof of the truck chassis itself (F-550, Hino, Fuso, Class 8 wrecker etc.), not to the tow body or boom. Compatible with any tow body conversion.
