What’s the difference between a rooftop and a split truck air conditioner?
Rooftop AC units are self-contained and bolt onto the cabin roof through a standard 14×14 inch opening. Split AC systems separate the evaporator (inside) from the condenser (outside or under the cab), giving installers more flexibility when roof space is limited.
Which voltage should I choose — 12V or 24V?
Match the voltage to your vehicle’s electrical system. Pickups, light trucks, vans and most Class B RVs use 12V. Heavy-duty trucks, buses and construction equipment generally use 24V. 24V systems draw less current at the same power, which simplifies wiring on heavy vehicles.
Do you support OEM truck HVAC projects?
Yes. Vethy supports OEM/ODM for cab integrators, fleet brands and upfitters — including custom voltage, refrigerant, control panel layout and branding. We work under ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems.
Are Vethy split air conditioning systems suitable for RV builders?
Yes. RV builders and upfitters can use Vethy split parking AC when an independent indoor evaporator and separate outdoor condenser/compressor module are easier to package than an all-in-one rooftop unit.
