24V battery layout for EU and AU heavy trucks
Most 24V heavy trucks ship with 2×12V batteries in series, around 180 to 230 Ah at 24V. For overnight cooling on a Vethy 24V VS02-PRO, plan for at least 2×100 Ah AGM at 24V dedicated to the parking AC and house loads. Runtime: 8 to 10 hours at 30 °C ambient.

Does a 24V parking AC need a different roof cutout?
No. Vethy 24V rooftop units use the same standard 360 × 360 mm cutout as the 12V variant.
Will it work with the EU CANbus systems?
The parking AC runs on a fused battery feed and does not depend on the CANbus. Optional CAN telemetry is available for fleet integration.
Is the 24V version louder than the 12V?
No. Both share the same compressor and fan platform — <49 dB(A) night mode.
