Are Vethy parking AC units legal for use in the UK?

Yes. All units are CE marked, use R410A refrigerant (legal for new equipment in the UK), and comply with UK PSSR and pressure equipment regulations. Installation must be carried out by an F-Gas registered engineer.

Will the unit drain my truck battery overnight?

Our 24V VS02 PRO draws 22–35A under typical UK overnight conditions (cab interior 18–25°C). A 200Ah AGM auxiliary battery delivers 6–9 hours of cooling without touching the starter battery. We recommend a dedicated lithium auxiliary for 10+ hour rest periods.
