Vethy installer training curriculum builds the technical capability that distribution partners need to deliver consistent install quality and reliable service support. Training combines classroom theory, hands-on workshop practice and supervised live installations.

Curriculum modules and sequence

Module 1: Product platform overview (VS02 PRO, ZH 1000, VC 1000, VC 2000). Module 2: Electrical architecture and battery integration. Module 3: Refrigerant circuit and service procedure. Module 4: Install procedure for top-mount and backwall configurations. Module 5: Commissioning, leak test and customer handover. Module 6: Service diagnostics and warranty workflow.

Hands-on workshop practice

Each module includes hands-on practice on training-fleet vehicles or simulator rigs. Installers complete supervised practice installations before certification. Practice scope covers VS02 PRO top-mount, ZH 1000 split system, VC 1000 / VC 2000 backwall variations.

Certification assessment

Written assessment covers product theory, electrical safety, refrigerant handling, install procedure and warranty workflow. Practical assessment covers supervised install on training vehicle within published time and quality benchmarks. Pass mark 80% on each component.

Recertification and continuing education

Annual recertification through online refresher modules and updated-product training. Major product platform updates trigger mandatory recertification. Master Dealer installers also complete advanced diagnostic certification.

How long is the installer training programme?

Typically 3–5 days including classroom theory, hands-on practice and certification assessment. Pre-work modules can compress on-site duration.

Is refrigerant certification (Section 608 / F-Gas) required?

Yes. Installers must hold valid refrigerant-handling certification per local regulation. Vethy training assumes pre-existing refrigerant certification.
