This page is a generic field troubleshooting guide for Vethy 12V/24V parking air conditioners. Always disconnect the battery before opening the unit and follow the install manual that shipped with your specific model. Refrigerant work (R410A) must be performed by a certified technician.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 360 mm dimension internal or external?

It is the clear internal opening through the roof skin. The unit flange sits on the roof skin around the opening.

Do I need to remove the existing hatch before install?

Yes. Remove old hatch, clean and prime the opening edge, apply fresh butyl tape, install Vethy unit.

Can I install over an existing solar panel?

No. The cutout requires clear roof access. Relocate the solar panel before install.

Does the adapter plate change the cooling performance?

No. The adapter only fills the gap between a larger factory opening and the Vethy unit flange.
