Shore-power voltages — 30A vs 50A North America, 16A/32A EU

North America RV: 30A 120V (3.6 kW) standard, 50A 240V (12 kW) for class-A motorhomes. EU campgrounds: 16A 230V (3.7 kW) standard, 32A 230V (7.4 kW) larger sites. Parking AC needs only 800–1,200W AC input — all standard pitches support it.

Smart inverter charger selection

Victron MultiPlus 12/3000/120 or 24/3000/70 covers North American 30A pitch. EU 16A pitch: MultiPlus 12/2000/80 or 24/1600/40. Auto-switches between shore and battery.

Transfer switch — AC and DC paths

When shore power is connected, the inverter passes through AC to onboard outlets AND charges the battery; the parking AC continues running on DC from the now-charging battery. Seamless transition.
